Bands of America Regional Competition Day

Saturday - Band of American Regional Championships (Rutgers University)

Note – this is a tournament style show, with 2 rounds of competition in the same day!

Dress under uniform = Tick Tock show shirt (bring along change of clothing/layers for after performance)

Eat a GOOD SOLID BREAKFAST before coming to East!

9:30AM – Report to East, triple check that you have everything!

Make a “to-go” snack bag for the bus

Bring your stadium jacket on bus

10:00 – on bus, 10:15 - Depart

12:00 – Arrive at Rutgers, Bathrooms, Snack break to hold you over

1:20 – Warm up

2:30 – East Performs in Prelims

Change after performance

3:15 – Tailgate lunch (provided) (Wawa Hoagies, chips, cookies, drinks)

4pm – Rutgers Band Performs & Prelims Awards Ceremony

Evening Schedule TBA Based on Finals

7pm – Finals begins

Dinner either on own in stadium *Cashless venue!* (BUT expensive, and last year they ran out of food), OR eat provided dinner option – Hot dogs/veggie dogs, assorted soups/ mac & cheese, chips, cookies, drinks

10:45 – Final Awards Ceremony

11:45pm – depart for home

1:30AM (yes you read that correct…) – Return to East, NO UNLOAD, Dismissed
